Q97.2FM play classic and contemporary hits, combined with a number of key special interest shows catering to a wide audience from eighteen to fifty five plus.

The station went on the air in January 2000, the station is based in Coleraine and broadcasts to the Causeway Coast and further beyond, catering for an audience in excess of 100,000. The University of Ulster, Coleraine Campus and an estimated two million visitors to the causeway coast region add to the vibrancy of this region.

Coleraine town, Portrsuh, Portstewart, Ballymoney and Maghera serve as the main population centres nestled amongst the many villages along the coast.

Q97.2 FM is a RAJAR station as part of the Q Network.
